For one, it is real night vision, and it can see in pitch blackness with no ambient light. However, this only works indoors. Do not expect anything when outdoors unless your 5 feet away with the brightest setting on (And when on the brightest setting, 4 infrared LED's are visible on the front, revealing yourself.) So great indoors (Good CQB), but horrible to nothing outside.Features: Green/Clear Display Colors Dim/Bright Adjuster Knob RIS Rail attachment (May need electrical/duct tape to fit the rail, simply wrap it around the rail about 5-6 times) Small RIS on top of Scope Rubber Eyepiece Focus Knob (Also, please realize this is a TOY. Paired with an eotech holo-sight, and an IR flashlight, he was able to complete our club's annual Dark Shoot informal USPDA-style event. Most competitors run with flashlights, but for something with such low recoil, this worked. We tested it the night before for safety, and for function.I wouldn't recommend it for anything else like that, but oddly interesting for a toy. Some notes... You only have a selection for high/low on the IR leds. This didn't work for the purpose, as the "display" on the holo-sight would wash out. he tricked it by holding it centered between the settings (which turns it off) and using a bit of tape to keep it that way. The rail mount isn't true to any spec either, it doesn't fit true pictanny rails or even nerf rails, which makes you wonder what they heck it was made for. In conclusion... Works. Durable. has quirks. feels cheaply...
