| 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful  Beware of BAD CD's,  This review is from: Smithsonian Zoomshot Binoculars (CD-ROM) The camera/binoculars seemed to be of good quality, but the included CD containing the software required to extract photos from this camera was blank. I contacted Digital Blue's technical support who quickly mailed me a 2nd CD. This CD installed the editing software but the driver required for the PC to recognize the camera for Windows XP was NOT compatible (though Digital Blue says it is - Windows tells you the driver is not approved by them). I attempted to install the drivers on two different computers (Gateway & Dell) both running XP, and without success I again contacted Digital Blue who said that my 2nd CD was probably bad and a 3rd would be sent while also mentioning that they had trouble with the vendor that supplied their CD's. I had enough and returned the camera before it was too late for a refund. GOOD LUCK and prepare for dissapointment if you buy this product. BTW - the box also states that a carrying case is included, it wasn't and when I asked technical support... Read more |
